Problem:
Client had an Access database that needed to grow with their business.
Solution:
We migrated their data to Microsoft SQL Server suitable for the amount of data to be processed and have added functionality when reporting requirements have changed or the client has introduced new services:
– import pharmacy claim data in Excel and csv files in various formats
– provide hospice clients with claims reporting in formats for multiple EMR vendors
– data quality reports
– performance reports PDF exports
– invoicing
Hospice users use a web interface with uses a WebRDP product to run the Access database. They mainly use the database to generate reports. Example: User will specify report criteria click a button and behind the scenes the database will run 30 reports and produce 30 pdf files and then merge those 30 files into one big pdf file and redirect it to the user for viewing/printing.
