At Byrd Brothers, our core competency is debris management following natural and man-made disasters. We’ve spent many hours working to develop a capable project information management system to track tens of subcontractors, hundreds of trucks and thousands of load tickets. However, our past system was flawed in that information stayed either on the project or in the home office.
We reached out to RPT Software to help re-develop our MS Access database and received something much greater in return. RPT Software was able to encapsulate our vision for a robust project information management system that linked multiple project sites with the home office via the cloud. We started small by re-tooling our internal Access system. With the core system in place, next, we began to expand with complementary modules to provide our project managers better, more timely information. Lastly, we moved our project information management system to the cloud, which provided us scalability, mobility, coordination and cost-savings.
